Dill Pickles
Ingredients
- English cucumber or other good cucumbers for pickles
- 1 cup water
- 3 cups vinegar
- 3 tbsp salt
- 4 tbsp pickling spice
- Handful of fresh dill
- 5-6 cloves of garlic
Instructions
- Slice cucumbers as desired
- Add water, vinegar, salt and pickling spice to sauce pan and bring to simmer until salt disolves
- Add sliced cucumbers, dill and garlic to Mason jar
- Add water/vinegar mixture to Mason jar
- Allow to cool
- Add lid and place in fridge for 3-4 weeks
