Shredded beef

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chuck roast
  • Favorite rub/seasoning
  • 1 head of garlic roughly chopped
  • 1 white onion roughly chopped
  • 2-3 jalapeños roughly chopped
  • 18 oz beef broth/stock

Instructions

  1. Heat smoker to 275°
  2. Season chuck roast with favorite rub
  3. Smoke chuck roast at 275° for 2 hours
  4. In a slow cooker add chuck roast, broth, onions, garlic and jalapeños
  5. Cook on high for 4-5 hours, flipping once
  6. Remove beef and shred
